Rename MP3 Files Pro scans your system’s drives looking for all kind of media files and organizes them following your favorite settings. Together with MP3 files, this extremely flexible tool can change the name of nearly any file in your system, as it supports more than 1,000 file types. It offers you a special process specifically aimed at organizing your photo collection.
The organizing tasks available not only change the name of your files and put them in a neatly organized folder tree, but it is also capable of sorting all your media files (music, images, photographs, video clips, etc.) by making use of the information stored in their tags. When it comes to music files, Rename MP3 Files Pro supports all versions of ID3 tags and IDx tags, as well as a wide variety of image tags and properties, including EXIF, IPTC, GPS, JFIF, IRB, and XMP. As a bonus, it comes with full support for most RAW image formats, which allows this program to read and understand all the tags embedded in your digital photographs by your Olympus, Canon, HP, Nikon, or Pentax camera (to name but a few).
Renaming and organizing your MP3 audio collection (and nearly any other music file in your system, for that matter) is still at the core of this program’s functionality. If you wish, the program can rename and sort your MP3 collection automatically, or you can take control and decide when and how these tasks will take place. The renaming and sorting processes may use sections of the existing names or information stored in their ID tags. Thus, you can organize your music collection by genre, artist, album, etc., or simply by date or file name. The program will take care of any duplicates found, and will warn you if the selected drive is running out of free space. You can choose between copying and moving your files when renamed, to save your valuable files from unexpected results.

What's new in version 4.3
Was released new edition of Rename MP3 Files Pro, v 4.39.
In new Rename MP3 Files Pro made large number of improvements, especially related to increasing of stability and speed of music and media organizing, sorting and renaming process.
First, in Rename MP3 Files Pro was improved organizing of mp3 music files without any tag information or only with partial tag information. Now with Rename MP3 Files Pro all they are automatically organized using information, which is available, even if it is partial.
Also to Rename MP3 Files Pro was appended possibility for easy image files organizing. Not a secret, that people, who collect music, also have large collections of photos. And all this photos are also need to be organized. We gathered large number of requests from our Rename MP3 Files Pro users to append photo organizing possibilities to our software. And they are now available! In new version of Rename MP3 Files Pro was appended a new wizard for photo organizing. It is named “Organize Photos” and is accessible over “Wizards” -> ”Organize Photos” Rename MP3 Files Pro top menu item. There are several standard methods of photo organizing: by camera model and manufacture, by photo dimensions (width and height), by photo content type (Color or Black and white, Photo, Drawing or Document scan, etc.), by photo creation date or something custom, that you can easily specify for yourself by pressing “Edit” button.
In new version of Rename MP3 Files Pro music organizer are also were foreseen large amount of non-standard situations, that may occur. For example, if while mp3 music organizing free space on the destination hard drive will be too low to continue music organizing, a special notification will be shown and you will easily understand, what had happened.
Another example of positive changes in Rename MP3 Files Pro – if there will not be any mp3 music files in source folder and you will want to start mp3 music organizing, you will be notified, that there are no mp3 music files in the source folder to organize. Intuitive icon, which will be shown in addition to event description, will let you know, that there are no mp3 music files in source folder to organize. By just one click on this sign will be opened source folder (you don’t need to go to Windows Explorer to find it) and you will have possibility to copy to it all mp3 music files, that you want to be organized, sorted and automatically renamed. |
